Elements
This 5-session program, designed especially for beginners, teaches you universal movements and concepts that translate into any fitness discipline. It’s included with membership and does not cost extra.
Everything, from the small class size to the compassionate coaches, is carefully crafted to help you feel comfortable and confident on your strength and fitness journey.
You do not have to complete all the classes in order, but we do suggest completing #1 before you take #3 and #5. You may attend our All Levels CrossFit classes while you are completing the Elements program..
Elements 1: SQUAT
You’ll learn to squat safely, both unweighted and with a barbell. We’ll cover all the major squats: Front, Back, and Overhead. You’ll also learn squat rack ettiquette, how to choose weights, and how to drop weights safely!
Elements 2: PRESS
Everything overhead! You’ll learn the major overhead lifts, including the Strict Press, Push Press, and Thruster. We’ll also cover jumping rope, and the infamous Double Under!
Elements 3: HINGE
We’ll put your booty to work with Deadlifts, Kettlebell Swings, and Cleans! You’ll get familiar with the concepts of Olympic Lifting, as well as learning correct rowing technique on the Erg.
Elements 4: GYMNASTICS
Bodyweight movements including Push Ups, Pull Ups, and Burpees are covered, as well as more advanced gymnastics movements and ways to scale them. We’ll go over the importance of recovery and tools to help you recover smarter.
Elements 5: POWER
This session is all about the Snatch. As an Olympic lift, it is a technical and demanding movement - but broken down into easy-to-understand parts, you’ll be lifting like an Olympian in no time.
