Optimize your Health: A Seminar

You proudly spend a significant amount of energy chasing optimum health and performance. You work out. You watch what you eat. You take fish oil. The only problem is, with the range of supplements and diet recommendations out there, most people just take guesses at what their body actually needs. Even for the most informed individuals, a trip to GNC or Whole Foods can be like throwing darts at a board blindfolded... you know generally which direction to throw, but there is no way to take aim.

In order to maximize your efforts, you need to take a deeper look at your nutrition, lifestyle, and personal biology. It's a hard thing to assess and there is no cookie cutter solution. For example, even the Paleo diet, the CrossFit anwer to better nutrition, is not the best diet choice for some. So how can you really know? Data. If you truly want to optimize your body's systems, regular biologial assessment should be part of your athletic regimen.

In that spirit, UB has partnered with WellnessFX to host a seminar discussing how biological assessment can be a game changer not only in how you feel and perform, but in your overall health. Speakers will include WellnessFX founders Jim Kean & Brent Vaughan, exercise physiologist and health strategist Justin Mager MD, and yours truly. The seminar will be on January 28th at 11:30 - 12:30 with snacks provided by VitaCoCo, Justin's Almond Butter, and Earthbound Farm Organic. So mark your calendars and check it out!
